Kristen L. Vela is a senior associate at The Ramon Worthington Law Firm. Kristen focuses her practice primarily on complex civil litigation involving commercial and business disputes, personal injury claims, labor and employment, and construction litigation matters. She has experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants.

Kristen’s commitment to making a difference extends beyond the courtroom. She proudly serves as the President of the Friends for Hope Board, a local organization with a mission to assist children suffering from cancer in the Rio Grande Valley. The organization is dedicated to ensuring that no child is denied life saving treatment and strives to raise awareness for the Vannie E. Cook, Jr. Children’s Cancer & Hematology Clinic. Kristen’s involvement reflects her deep sense of compassion and her belief in using her skills and influence to contribute positively to the well-being of others. Additionally, Kristen is a recent graduate of class 41 of Leadership McAllen. She has continued to play an active role in the organization. Currently serving on Leadership McAllen’s Board of Directors as PR Chair, Kristen leverages her skills to contribute to the organization’s success in developing and nurturing future leaders in the community. Furthermore, Kristen is Co-Chair of the Hidalgo County Bar Association’s Business Law and Commercial Litigation Section, demonstrating her commitment to fostering professional growth and excellence within the legal community.
