$28,500 to the Texas Civil Rights Project

The Hidalgo County Bar Association Women's Bar Section was proud to donate $28,500 to the Texas Civil Rights Project in 2019! Partner Liz Cantu was honored to be Chair of the Section and to help such a worthy cause.

Texas Bar Foundation Awards $1,350,000

Texas Bar Foundation Fellows, Dan Worthington, Sofia Ramon and Liz Cantu are proud that the Bar Foundation was able to award $1,350,000 in 2019 to worthwhile organizations across Texas, including Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid. TRLA worked to conduct disaster-preparedness sessions for community members in Texas’ flood-prone areas.
