She proudly serves as the President of the Friends for Hope Board, a local organization with a mission to assist children suffering from cancer in the Rio Grande Valley. The organization is dedicated to ensuring that no child is denied life saving treatment and strives to raise awareness for the Vannie E. Cook, Jr. Children’s Cancer & Hematology Clinic.
