Becky graduated with dual degrees in Biology and Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016, and received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2019. After law school, she provided free legal services to survivors of intimate partner violence at the Texas Advocacy Project in Austin, before joining the Thirteenth Court of Appeals in Corpus Christi-Edinburg, Texas as a staff attorney for Justice Gina M. Benavides. She has previously served as the co-chair of the Corpus Christi Bar Association’s appellate section, and as a board member of the Coastal Bend Women Lawyers Association. She is currently a council member with the Women and the Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, and a member of the Travis County Women Lawyers Association and the Austin Bar Association.
