Chrissy has been practicing law for 25 years and has handled a variety of civil litigation matters, including cases involving personal and catastrophic injury, commercial litigation, DTPA, employment, and insurance defense. She’s tried over 60 cases to a jury verdict in 8 different Counties.

Chrissy received her law degree from the University of Houston College of Law, Magna cum Laude, in May 1992. She practiced law as an equity shareholder with the Houston firm, Phillips & Akers, PC from 1995 to 2013 and managed the firm’s Rio Grande Valley office.  She then practiced as an equity partner with Sanchez, Whittington, Wood & Dijkman, LLC prior to joining Ramon Worthington PLLC as of Counsel.

Her professional licenses include the State Bar of Texas and U.S. District Court (Southern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas). She is serving her 8th year as the Vice-President of the Laguna Madre Humane Society and her 7th year as a board member of Fishing’s Future.  She has handled many pro-bono cases for The Lexus Project, representing dogs and their owners in a variety of legal matters.

Chrissy was born in The Hague, The Netherlands and has lived in six different countries growing up.  She is fluent in Dutch and German. She attended High School in the Houston area and graduated from Texas A&M University where she earned a BA in History and Anthropology.
